Job Description
ISLAND FARMHOUSE POULTRY is looking for a production helper on an urgent basis. The candidate must start the duty immediately. This position will require the following: – Must have previous experience working with poultry- Must be willing to learn about all aspects of our business- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.- Must be able to stand for long periods.
Requirements
- Transport raw materials from supplier to facility.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, including but not limited to: cleaning equipment, preparing product samples, operating machinery, etc
- Dump and measure ingredients into the containers
- Keep the inventory records accurate and updated
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility
- Provide support to other employees as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Job Type & Salary
It is an hourly paid job that pays $17/hr plus benefits like pension, insurance, vacation days, sick leave, etc.
Work Environment
A fast-paced environment where you must be flexible and adaptable to changes. You will also need to be comfortable working in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is required
Language Skills: English (written and spoken)
Police Clearance Certificate: The candidate must provide a police clearance certificate upon request.
Drug Test: Before starting the job, the candidate must pass a drug test.
Physical Requirements: Can lift to 50 pounds; ability to stand for extended periods; ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, climb, crawl, and operate hand tools; ability to perform repetitive tasks.
